Central Catholic High 学校, founded by the Marist Brothers of the 学校s, participates in the educational ministry of the Catholic Church.

Its purpose is threefold:

• to have students develop a relationship with Jesus and bear witness to His message,
• to build a community that respects and promotes the dignity of every person, and
• to help students develop their God-given talents and use them in the service of others.

这所学校, inspired by the spirit of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Brothers, seeks to emulate the role of Mary through the nurturing of youth by a caring faculty and in the showing of a special concern for the less fortunate.

To achieve these ends, Central Catholic's college preparatory curriculum and its extra-curricular activities are designed to foster the spiritual, 道德, 知识, emotional and physical growth of the whole person.

Central Catholic promotes a respect for democratic ideals and recognizes the value of a student body, which respects diversity of cultural, 少数民族, and social backgrounds.

此外, recognizing that learning is a life-long process, the school encourages students to think critically and exhibit a willingness to help create a world, which is just and respectful of all God’s creation.

Central Catholic High 学校 is fully accredited by the New England Association of 学校s and Colleges.

The Five Pillars of Marist Identity were introduced by the Marist Province in 2015 as ideals to which all Marists, students and adults alike, should commit to.

The Pillars are:

简单…… being straightforward and genuine, humble and modest, ‘doing good quietly’

家庭精神…… relating to each other as members of a loving family, building community, offering the warmth of welcoming, acceptance and belonging, sharing our successes and failures, setting clear standards of honesty, 相互尊重, 和宽容

热爱工作…… being generous of heart, 常数, and persevering in our daily work, 自信, 有远见的, decisive in meeting the needs of our community and encouraging each other to discover the dignity of our work with young people and with each other
